Supporting local film makers has always been a priority for Jackson Media, so we were delighted when this opportunity arose. Founded by Nic Beery, the Carrboro Film Festival is now in its third year. Focusing on short films by local film makers, the festival screened 27 films in 2007 and it sure to build on that momentum in 2008.

Having been involved in the Southern Documentary Fund, Jackson Media is thrilled to add another film festival to its list of sponsored events. We are looking forward to the event and hope to see some of you there as well.
